This is a great move generally. I’ve never bought a new car in my life and I generally buy other expensive stuff used as well. I’ve only ever bought a couple of new guitars for example and I’ve found it’s not worth the upcharge over used.
Boardgames and video games are nice to have new but most of the time the people I buy them from have been super careful with their stuff so you hardly notice it’s been used.
Same thing with clothes. People buy so much shit that they hardly (if ever) wear it before selling it on. I’ve bought Chucks with the tags still on for half of what they’re sold for in retail. Same thing with jeans.
Also it’s generally better for the environment to buy used.
I’m not too familiar with Armada so bear with me here but doesn’t that game have any scenarios or missions? Something beyond facing each other and exchanging shots?

I’m thinking yes. Assuming their dietary needs are roughly similar. However, every cat I’ve ever know has been notoriously picky about what food they like and dislike so I’m assuming big cats are the same.

Waar ik enigszins begrip (of is het meer mededogen?) voor op kan brengen zijn de mensen die het al niet getroffen hebben (qua IQ, sociaal-economische status etc) en die al dan niet terecht het gevoel hebben overal buiten te vallen. Als er dan een slimme oplichter langskomt die ‘De Oplossing’ heeft zijn de makkelijke prooi.
Dit soort mensen snappen geen zak van waar belastingen voor zijn en van ‘collectiviteit’ hebben ze ook geen kaas gegeten.
Hoe dan ook is het natuurlijk wel asociaal maar ik ga er voor mij eigen levensgeluk van uit dat het eerder het gevolg is van domheid dan van kwaadwilligheid.
Op zich, de logica dat je allerlei (betaal)verplichtingen hebt zonder dat je daar ooit een overeenkomst over afgesloten hebt kan ik ergens nog wel volgen. Het is een beetje alsof bol.com ineens van alles aflevert en vervolgens verwacht dat ik dat ook ga betalen.
Het gevoel dat ‘het niet klopt’ kan ik ergens wel inkomen. Zeker als je al een beetje op je randje van de maatschappij balanceert en kwetsbaar bent.
