  • Depends on the day and mood, but Firestarter by The Prodigy is a good speaker stress tester.

  • Everything in cars being replaced by screens. If auto manufacturers could figure out how to make the steering wheel a screen, they would. Impossible to work on those things.

  • Can't forget about Dubrovnik and the Game of Thrones fan.

  • Instrumentation Tech. Those people run our systems, we'd be fucked without them. Factor in the two for one electrician training and you're set.

  • Side projects and hobbies are your best friend when it comes to resumes. Proof of concept, essentially.

Trade companies are always looking for people in the tech field, as machines and rigs are becoming more and more complex. IT support will definitely get you something in those fields.

  • Don't listen to them, this is who you're posting with

  • Don't know what that's supposed to do when you hit the waves, but every little bit helps.

  • Very rarely do people like this actually want to discuss why they are the way they are. They don't care about your opinion, and will actively react negatively to any push back. Of course, you can always block them, but there is another choice

  • Reading papers and contacting people in that field. I've found that university professors can especially direct you to materials in their field, and even like to chat about it sometimes. Half of my book collection was found this way.

  • Bored music teacher in 2200: "and here children, we find the most important contributions to late 20th centure music: a phonograph of Depeche Mode's Violator."

  • Wallet, phone, keys. Everything else i just keep in my car or work van. Whenever i see someone add a gun to their list, i always find it funny. It's such a silly thing to walk around with

  • Whenever this conversation pops up, it's usually in relation to Berlin, to which i have to say

Berlin was not this split point in the middle of the country, it was firmly in Eastern Germany. People attempted to scale the wall to either rejoin family, or escape persecution for crimes. While one side is understandable, the other is because these people would have been under police custody, and likely would not have once if they escaped. Information would leak, and understandbly the East German government would rather that not be the case.

  • Chapo got banned, checked out chapo.chat, found the "under construction" page with what i think was "call me maybe" as a chiptune playing, and joined a little while after.

  • Lmao, in Cuba's case i don't think i've ever been ripped off. Probably the worst was children giving "gifts" that they expected pay for, but i just handed them a 5 dollar bill and let them deal with the next mark.
