One bad act will undo years of good will, we see this constantly irl. Why do you think the mods deserve any benefit of the doubt from people when they unilaterally chose to make a bad decision with no input from the community? If the community can't trust them to act in their best interests, they're absolutely well within their rights to demand they step down or move to the replacement community. Because of they're going to do this once, what are the odds they actually learn the correct lesson and don't do this kind of shit again?
You're always going to have someone that doesn't like a rule, but I'd much rather bitch about a rule that the community voted on that have to deal with the mercurial whims of the mod team.
Fuck that, <$20-30 or nothing. I'm not playing online, so I'm not wasting most of the cost of the game to be ignored by the dev. Fuck rockstar for turning gta5 into a live service game and entirely ignoring the single player experience.
And why should I keep a copy if I can just stream it again from the same or some different site for free in the future?
That's a big if depending on the media in question, and the effort required to go find it again.
I've had so many instances where a streaming site takes down the movie or show I was planning on watching with one or both of my partners, only to have it not there and either have to waste an hour trying to find it again or figure out something else to watch.
Spinning rust drives are cheaper than the time I spend looking for something or being annoyed at having my plans derailed. Plus, I've used that more than once to make up for streaming site/content missing issues during get together with friends, so it's more than worth it to me.
I find it fucking hilarious that in 2015 he was calling black artists who would perform at Trump's first inauguration an "uncle tom", only to become my mother's brother Thomas.
It's not my place to invalidate the way you feel about yourself. Plus, my grasp on sanity is tenuous enough as it is, I'm in no place to judge another lol.
How many NATO soldiers have experience fighting a full-scale war on their territory against an enemy with similar technological and production capabilities?
I'm not sure, but since this is the Russian-Ukraine conflict we're talking about, we don't have to worry about one showing up. Russia is barely a near peer to Ukraine, they wouldn't stand a snowballs chance in hell against more than one country at a time without their nukes, let alone NATO as a whole.
Nukes are literally the only thing that lets Russia pretend they're still a superpower and not a failed state. But as we can see in Ukraine, they can't even beat a former client state and has to resort to bringing our cold war era equipment, so double lol at "similar capabilities"
Unfortunately, that wouldn't have done anything. Because I did that in December and they stopped running like 2 weeks after my verification. I would have caught it on my next scheduled validation, but that doesn't help me now 😕
My son (diagnosed with the tsim but too young for his inevitable adhd diagnosis) gets very disregulated after eating items high in sugar or after having too much screen time. No clue why, he just becomes a little asshole and takes his energy out on the people and animals around him. Thankfully the screen time issue has gone down from "any" to more than 20-30 minutes so he can occasionally watch educational kids programming.
Count yourself lucky you don't have to deal with that. It's maddening at the best of times, especially when all the experts we talk to say we're already doing everything they recommended.....
