My admins said they see a big red "insecure" banner if they allow other 2FA apps.

It became true in the past 6 months for me after always using Aegis.

If your admins change the default away from Authenticator only they see bright red "MS 365 insecure" banners.

So... Its a dark pattern that technically allows other options.

Anyone else hate Microsoft forcing you to use Authenticator rather than alternatives?

Microsoft sucks for this, outlook, "open source vscode", and many other reasons.

That said my current workaround is to use sourcegraph.

Buying a TV and hooking up a computer is probably cheaper for larger screens.

Take it back for a refund and send a complaint to vendor.

If you want to use NixOS, the one I recommend elsewhere, I'm not sure what your experience will be whether good or bad. Probably more fiddling, but more flexible/stable in the long run.
