Ah some companies charge for calling their customer support, which kind of sucks because there's a reason people call customer support (I guess it's to scare people off from actually contacting them?) and it could get very expensive. I'm glad that wasn't the case for you, though! That would've been super expensive.
That must've been an expensive phone call. I hate when they leave you waiting for ages and then charge extra even though it's wasting your time, not theirs.
But that's assuming everyone brings their phone along everywhere and not everyone knows how to scan a QR code or even (think elderly people, for example) owns a smartphone.
I do agree that it's more sanitary, though. I did go to a place a while ago that had a QR code on the table which I thought was really cool, actually. Because it allowed me to place my order on my phone and even pay on my phone. But they offered a physical menu as well.
Ah thanks! That's good to hear, at least. My nephew told me about Overwatch 2 replacing Overwatch 1 and suddenly being unable to play it because his PC now didn't meet the new requirements. I hadn't played for ages, so I didn't even know this had happened. Couldn't they just have released a real sequel that people had to pay for... Or use this new model, fine, but leave Overwatch 1 as it was. -.-
I have dresses and skirts but rarely wear them because they don't feel comfy for me at all. I have to pay extra attention to how I sit and walk and that adds extra stress to my day for me. I do like to wear something loose when I'm home, though, and wish I could wear that outside more often because it's much more comfy than tight, neat clothes.
The engine following in Blender's footsteps would most likely be Godot.
