Sen. Chris Van Hollen said Monday morning that he would take matters into his own hands later this week. Van Hollen, a Democrat representing Maryland, said in a statement that he had requested a meeting with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, who is visiting the White House on Monday, to discuss Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s release from an El Salvador mega-prison. And if Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old Prince George’s County father, isn’t back by midweek, Van Hollen said he plans to travel to El Salvador “to check on his condition and discuss his release.”

Yes and no. It drives me nuts that it is happening, but all the reasons are there in plain sight. Putin is orchestrating the downfall of the US with Trump/MAGA and the oligarchs, like rabid dogs, will gobble up the pieces.

Yah, I was about to mention ego being very much involved in all of this from the purchase of the "truck" to feeling spurned by not being asked to help. My ego would be hard-pressed to avoid educating him. Politely, of course.

LOL. I have a truck for towing and other truck-related things and am quite happy to help others with aforementioned truck activities when asked. The amount of times I get upset when people don't call me to do truck things is like, hmmmm let's see....zero. It is zero times. A shrug is all I might manage to evoke from the drama.

Thus confirming his strength to all his supporters of his mastery at negotiating the deal. Meanwhile there are 38 more crisis aflame and he's handling it all swiftly and efficiently (illegally). His fans are only too happy to have all that pesky red tape (rule of law) out of the way. Later when these (self-inflicted and grossly mishandled) issues make life far more difficult for them and everyone, they'll eagerly (and perhaps violently) blame those damn Democrats. These people know fuck-all about politics, trade or social issues and are led around by their fear/hatred which means they are quite easy to manipulate/motivate.

Yes, I already have some SB and will likely bring it, but I was hoping for other suggestions. I appreciate your link to Mr Hoffman and I enjoyed the video. Ultimately, I found a brand called Black Coffee Roasting Company. I'll bring those and the SB on the trip. Thank you again.

BTW, I normally drink Dillanos. Their double-French roast is one of the best coffees I've had. I don't drink SB much anymore.
