Hackers, a glorious movie from 1995 about a bunch of misfit teenage hackers. The movie has some killer taglines like hack the planet and RISC is good. Worth a watch although more in the fun-bad category than the classic films category.

You don't have to invest a lot, my bank for example let's me siphon off a little from each paycheck into an investment account.
It isn't supported very well but I use it on my Linux laptop often and it works well. The major issues are scaling support because it uses an old version of Electron and screen sharing probably also an issue with Wayland/Electron. But the Steam Deck doesn't use Wayland so it shouldn't be an issue
It's been working for a while unless I'm misunderstanding what you mean by screen capture. But I've been using OBS on KDE Wayland capturing via portals for months now with issues.
I have a framework and love it but it's probably not the best option for this. It's kinda overkill and they can get a bit hot and loud. More of a desk laptop than a lap laptop IMHO. Also depends on how long you need the battery to last but this is reportedly better in the newer models.
