Yes and no, I'm never happy about having less options. Plus my boycott does very little.

The list of manufacturers I can morally buy from is ever shrinking... Soon Dacia will be the sole manufacturer I could buy from without weird BS attached.

Kia and Ford were EVs I considered but ultimately turned down.

Qne is this not already part of the purchase? Cars like everything else went up in price. Labour and raw materials cost more. But not even for a second am i under an illusion they're not baking the upkeep of servers and updates as part of the cost with a hefty margin.

Sure, you might be fine, my 7 year old and wife aren't. The ui and ux are hot barbage without a mouse. I just want to use my tv remote and simple arrows and for the play/pause button to work.

Not to go on the "we have it better here"... But it hasn't occurred to me you guys get charged a fee per transaction, that's wild. My bank, if i go into an overdraft, will charge a % of what i owe after 24h of not clearing it. There's no "pay X because you went under". I pay interest on what i owe to the bank per day till i clear it.

But banking is free.... Running out of money is not.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. But I can't say the bank put the gun to my head and made me overdraft! I did that, yes, it's due to my financial situation which is the result of everything else going tits up.

That's where the money is. Games and consoles don't make them enough. Especially when you can get it elsewhere for cheaper.

Over expansion? Lets call it what it really is. Stupidity. Tech start ups with more brains than wit. As soon as any hard decision has to be made, they fold. It's what happens when you hire people with no management experience because they're cheap and aspiring.

I see it a lot in colleagues who fell for it. A lot of companies are culling big time.

Yeah, that'd be quite illegal down here. I spent basically half a year living in hotels straight due to work all across the UK and primarily London then continued for a few years after. So we're likely talking +300 nights. I have never seen an additional charge.
