Silly question why do this over zram these days?

I drink 1-2 Americano’s every day. Double shot of course. When I was drinking drip I would drink 8-10 cups which was a lot. Getting an espresso machine has definitely helped me cut back

From what I remember it was supposed to be a simgle use vehicle that they kept using.The CF worked great those few time but would eventually wear out because of stress fractures. That's what I remember from when the accident happened so I could be wrong.

Alpine is the perfect little container OS I will say that.

It’s been a while since I have built a jail but I think Alpine would be a just a touch lighter from a disk point of view unless your running a thin jail then things get crazy light per jail but do come with disadvantages from what I remember.

I really with FreeBSD would get a port of Podman and I could just go back to my FreeBSD. My servers are rock solid since they where installed in the FreeBSD 10 days and just keep getting updated with no problems at all

Indeed, the Unix philosophy was do one thing and do it well. ls just list directory’s and files it’s not a network manager too. Systemd crams a lot of extra shit into an init.d/rc.

I still prefer the old system-v/openRC setup or BSD’s setup. It’s simple does 1 job and does it well. But I can work with systemd just fine in creating scripts these days and it does have some nice features like user startup scripts baked into it and podman integrates very nicely with it.

He might want to take note of this and start pushing for Ukraine funding!
