I think what most people find unrealistic is having more than 1 person you want to spend more than 30 minutes with. In the 90s, nothing about their lifestyle is super unrealistic for New York. The only thing is the money.
In the 90s what else were people doing if they weren’t hanging out? If I had no kids it’s perfectly plausible I could meet at the bar every day after work. How is a coffee shop any different? Just for clarity plenty of people drink coffee at night.
This post either needs to be removed or retitled. Luigi is not convicted and this perpetuates a huge problem in the US of assigning guilt to people through public opinion.
Don’t give 2 week notices. The only incentive you have is if you are leaving on good terms you can use them as a reference or maybe come back if the circumstances work.
The downsides far outweigh the benefits. They could terminate you, cut your hours, get mad that you’re quitting and give you bad references.
I literally asked the question. I don’t know non US date formatting. I know this story didn’t originate in China so it can’t be Chinese date formatting. We have the guardian in the Us as well but this formatting is not from the US. I am actively trying to learn something. A simple answer like “XYZ country formats their dates this way”. If you don’t know not answering would have been fine but the condescending response isn’t helpful.

When the left lane does not adjust their speed for the incoming driver, the right lane is forced to slow down and sometimes stop completely if traffic is bad enough. This further increases traffic because now the left lane has to stop as well to allow the right lane to merge.
Of course the people selling it are gonna recommend. Just a basic google search will show it. Watch a washer repair video on YouTube and they will mention it every time.
