  • I think the setting is bad in this context. You’re right that if he was at a comedy club or on his show it would be funny but he is at a political rally. He created this set to pander to a crowd of racists. In any other context I think it’s clear it’s a routine but not here.

  • Just from personal experience cash gifts to employees can backfire because on average people are selfish and when you give cash many will get upset because you could have given more. What I do is give coupons for free lunch like I’ll buy them a plate from any nearby restaurant. It’s pretty inexpensive and it makes them feel like money is not an issue since they can choose any menu item.

If I’m being honest there are no good options for not spending to appreciate employees. There is always a cost but it’s worth it if you genuinely care about your employees. The more they feel like you care the cash value of your gift becomes less important.

  • Don’t worry I’ll do it for both of us.

I say this just for the others that will read it but if a normal Republican was running I’d vote red because I do not agree with a lot of kamalas policies and she seems unable to answer basic questions on how she will accomplish anything.

The issue lies with Trump. He was a terrible president and he is a pathological liar. I wish to God our candidates were anti murder but that’s not the case. We have to choose the lesser of 2 evils and make our complaints known in the next primary and throughout the presidency, whomever wins.

  • I am not a Democrat. At this point I’m closer to Independent because both parties have gone off the rails over that last decade. However I understand the importance of this election and I understand how our system works. Voting 3rd party does nothing but pull votes from Democrats. It happens EVERY election. I’m sorry to burst your bubble but voting third party doesn’t give you the moral high ground. It just makes you an idiot because not only will your candidate not be elected but more often than not you enable Republicans to win elections based on how our voting system works.

  • We’ll that’s an argument I guess however consent is not the end all be all of free will. You can not give a fetus personhood and be pro choice because at that point you accept that abortion is murder, taking the life of another human. Your right to choose does not supersede another persons right to live.

Not to mention they consented by having unprotected sex (barring instances of rape of course)

  • I would say you have to be the stupidest person on earth to vote 3rd party but I know that Magidiots exist.

You do nothing but enable genocide by voting 3rd party. A Democrat loss in November GUARANTEES the genocide continues. The Republican Party is the party of Israel and they would bend over backwards to give them whatever is necessary to bring back Jesus Christ

  • If you believe a fetus is a human being I don’t see how you could be pro choice, that’s how I understood your comment at least. Being pro choice is predicated on the idea that a fetus isn’t a human yet. I don’t know any people that can argue that a fetus is a human child at conception and also be pro choice.

Honestly we need to change the way we fight against abortion. The Republicans have successfully made the issue a “murder” issue when it’s really an issue of keeping government out of medical decisions as well as severe lack of education about sex. No women want an abortion , they just don’t want to be pregnant. If we fought to drive education about contraceptives and risks of unprotected sex abortion numbers would plummet.
