  • There’s no point now. Anything they try to do will be blocked and be labeled lame duck president bullshit. It sucks but it’s reality. No point in trying to shake things up now. We can only pray the liberal judges stay alive until 2029

  • To protect people’s families from being ripped apart for one. Also it will destabilize the local economy if they deport them too fast. Hundreds of thousands of jobs disappearing and the same amount of people no longer paying local taxes like sales tax and buying things. It will basically create a mini recession in some areas.

  • They are all complicit. There could have easily been a primary. They could have easily not backed him as the candidate. But they allowed him to wait and they approved no democratic process for electing the next candidate. Zero accountability from the democrats as usual.

  • There’s a lot of information floating around that SOUNDS good. Who knows what kind of things will happen honestly. At best, millions of people suffer and a portion of the population reaps the benefits. What decides how you’ll be affected is your tax bracket.

  • No need to use false numbers the real ones are bad enough. There are not 330 million registered voters and Kamala’s stance on Gaza is not what cost her the election. Her piss poor stance on the economy and immigration is what caused this. You can’t run a campaign on “Everything’s fine! Let’s get another 4 years of the same!” Even though numbers showed she was right, the American people didn’t feel it in their pockets and she could have done more to make those bottom 80% feel heard.

  • We’ll never know for sure but there is a clear divide on people who believe progressives were ignored and others that say the party is too extreme left.

It’s clear to me as you said most of the policies put forth by Kamala were too centrist as it was clear she was trying not to rock the boat. Possibly that’s why she refused to answer many questions directly about her policy.

Bernie said it best. It’s not about where we are on the spectrum but that the Dems have abandoned the working class of America. Campaigning on “same shit different day” is insane.

  • Don’t get so worked up on other peoples opinions. Shit doesn’t get fixed that way. I voted all blue this year and given the option I would vote to codify a women right to choose. With that said I do not support abortion but I understand there are situations it’s necessary and everything isn’t black and white.

If we educated our children about sex and taught them all the contraceptive options out there abortion rates would drop naturally.

  • I never said it was unreasonable I just think it’s odd. There plenty of contraceptive options out there. My wife and I have been using an IUD for the past 10 years with no issues. That coupled with a condom I feel like would be a better option. That fours the even cover the several other reason for this medication, obviously in situations of rape it’s very useful.

I’m not judging anyone by any means. Again I just find it odd.

  • You seem to have taken the wrong impression that I’m against the use of this medication. You also are under the false impression that this medication is 100% effective.

Just like contraceptives aren’t 100%, neither is this medication. Also the idea that people are panic buying these pills in case they get raped is a bit odd but not outside the realm of possibility. Not every persons opinion is an attack on a women’s right to choose.
