Hmmm, I’ve been on a tolerance break for 1 month now, one because I wanted to do it, and two because I am looking for a new job. Maybe I can apply for this job and they won’t give a shit about me popping hot for weed. But then again, I don’t think I could wear a balaclava over my face for long hours at a time. I hated having to wear one when I cleared my drive way while living in the upper midwest for years.

The college degrees I earned in an attempt to get away from a soul sucking career: Nursing. First mistake was getting a fucking bachelors degree in nursing. That is not neccessary, because an associates degree would be sufficient. In fact, nursing needs to go back to more on the job training in an apprenticeship style program, hopefully run by a union rather than just the hospitals like in the old days. This requirement to have a bachelors degree in nursing that many jobs have is bullshit, and it’s just an excuse to get H1-B Filipina nurses (who work their asses off for less than US citizens) imported en masse. My next mistake was earning a degree in nursing informatics, which hasn’t done shit for me and now I find myself in a job I’m stuck in because I’ve been away from the bedside for so long. My third biggest mistake was earning a MBA in a further attempt to get the fuck away from nursing. Right now, MBA holders can’t get the jobs they would typically qualify for because the market is saturated. And maybe I could have done a dual MBA/MHA (master in health administration) degree in order to become one of the suits in a health system that makes the problems for nurses worse.

Now I don’t know what to do, and I want to die. I am seriously looking at switching over to become an electrician, specifically for low voltage. One of my previous jobs which was informatics related, I worked with those guys for a while. The worst thing they have to do is pull cable through tight spaces and up steep heights. Rest of the time they are using fine motor skills to connect smaller wires to the devices, and then programming them. I think I could hack it. The problem is, in the USA, things are getting politically and economically unstable, and a nursing license in another western country is more of a golden ticket out of this shithole of a country than any apprenticeship. If I had to flee at the drop of a hat, I would have to start an apprenticeship from the bottom again. At least nursing gives me a lifeline, even though the longer I remain a nurse, the more likely I am to want to kill myself. Even my therapist has noticed that, and has told me to leave.

Claim asylum in Canada, telling them exactly what happened. And with this unstable political climate, they just might actually take my claim seriously. Or maybe Mark Carney will not want to do that because they worry about pissing off that lunatic below them in the meth lab, until he can make a solid trade deal.

I like your proposal. Actually I would also add certain other jobs like daycare worker (after a thourough background check including checking their computers and phones for child porn), certified nurse aide or farm picker. I can speak about the great need for nurse aides. We have a massive shortage of healthcare workers, and it’s even worse at the nurse aide level because the work is tiring but pays so little. Why should immigrants be funnelled into these jobs to make up for the labor gap in the healthcare sector? We need born citizens to also pick up the slack, and learn how to care for their fellow man.

Wow, I can’t say I’ve ever had therapists who gaslit me. Then again, I’ve purposefully sought out therapists who couldn’t prescribe meds.

Again, I only said dual Israeli-US citizens. Which if we were to look at the numbers, that would be a low percentage of Jews.

That’s most people, who are descendents of immigrants. Now, I didn’t say all jews should be denaturalized, only the ones with dual Israeli-USA citizenship. You can’t strip someone of citizenship if they only have one citizenship, that has been established by domestic and international law. Trump is definitely going to ignore that, and when he does, then it should be open season on all the people that support him.

Their beliefs affect millions of people, and they have the money to fund ventures that are in line with their shitty beliefs.

This guy and so many other tech bros need to be imprisoned for life. Just for their beliefs, which manifests as shitty actions against the people.

I identify as a Californian first. My US passport holder has stickers of the Californian flag. Many Europeans may dislike the USA right now, but you tell them you’re from California, or they see a California flag sticker on your passport holder, wallet, or phone, and then they won’t be so icy.

Prisoners can’t fill every need. Also, they aren’t typically used as janitors, which is also largely filled by immigrants. Or wait staff at restaurants, or car wash attendants.

When people say “Don’t California my [insert state]”, they mean this. Idaho is getting all the California discontents who get their CalPERS pension and take it to move to Idaho to fund these white supremacist movements. Yes, there has always been a fertile base of whacky religious ideology because of the Mormon presence, but white Californians who coouldn’t stand the diversity of the state are behind all this.

Ban them, and make a sweet, sweet deal with Nayib Bukkake in El Salvador to house these terrorists in CECOT. He’s still smarting from being called out for housing innocent Venezuelans in that concentration camp, plus he needs the money real bad.
