  • No meaningful consequences is definitely part of the problem. I was once told of a student who threw a chair at a TV. Breaking both chair and TV.

Consequences? He was given a card that says he was naughty, and was told to give it to his parents. The card was promptly thrown in the bin. Nothing else happened.

The soft touch approach is too soft. They’re being set up for failure in the real world. Can’t wait for them to try this shit at uni/tafe/job.

  • Learn to cook/bake, you’ll save even more by not buying processed foods. You’ll get more micronutrients too. Less jars, more fresh produce. Look for protein rich vegetables to make up for the lack of meat, or toss in a few eggs into your diet.

  • I’m a xenial with a tech job and have reached irreplaceable status. I’m very fortunate to have been able to give the RTW ultimatum. I can assure you that I am anything but wealthy, let alone ultra wealthy.

I simply have a job that allows me to work from home, and I have a unique skill set. For which I am extremely grateful.

  • To be fair, most of them were actually run over, not shot.

It boggles the mind that they think this is a valid argument.

Edit: I know it isn’t true, it was a bullshit claim initially made by the IDF. But how is running them over instead even remotely better?
