One major annoyance is contact/calendar syncing. DAVX works great but you do need to set up your own provider. I ended up using my NAS, synology has apps that do that
Good. I was really worried about the steam deck. On paper it seemed too good to be true, and Valves track record with hardware is abysmal.
I ended up getting one and its honestly one of my best gaming purchases. Pretty tempted to grab an OLED
Pixel 7 with Calyx OS. This is probably my all time favorite setup for a phone. Most of my apps are foss except a few (banking apps, discord, lyft, and Instagram)
I really like the idea of cosmos. My first go with it resulted in the app crashing every 10 seconds after I installed Jellyfin. Ill have to give it another go
My zigbee network is predominantly Hue bulbs and fixtures. Not cheap but reliable and they come in a lot of form factors. I think the only other zigbee device I use is the kwikset convert. I didn't want a keypad on both of my doors so the convert was a cheap and easy solution
I just installed Calyx and I love it, the biggest difference for me is.
1 MicroG instead of sandboxed play services.
2 You can relock the bootloader, which got some of my banking apps to work again.
I don't know if Graphene has these features but some other things I like:
You can revoke fine network access (revoke all or jikust background/mobile/WiFi data per app).
Seedvault can backup your phone over webdav. Unfortunately it uses abd backup so it doesn't backup all apps.
It adopts some Lineage features like snoozing notifications
I've had a 218+ since 2017. The only reason I might upgrade is to have space for more drives. Im way more of a data hoarder than I used to be
