  • There are TONS of games that use X as a dodge button. Just because the big game dev, fromsoft, use another button for roll, doesn't mean no game does. The joke isn't about what button you press, it's about getting someone to press literally any button that would mess them up in a normally safe situation.

  • Dark souls isn't the only game with a dodge. In fact, in dark souls traditionally just pressing dodge will get you a back step, not a roll, so I'd argue that this isn't specifically a dark souls reference, just action RPGs in general.

  • I disagree. Seeing the troll character standing there still smiling as if nothing has happened, and the AAAAAAAAH that has completely replaced the trolled character really punctuates it, imo.

  • You honestly sound very depressed and like you really don't know what you ARE. Try things, open mindedly, and you may find that some of these things are you, or can be fun regardless. Stop getting in your own way.

  • Only because we associate sexuality and "getting laid" with manhood. They aren't the same. Are asexual men less men? No one's gatekeeping manhood in this image, they're gatekeeping sexuality.

  • Yup.

  • Hmm. Normally I'd be inclined to agree, but this really doesn't feel like it's punching at men or manliness. It's more just saying no one will find you attractive if you have a cybertruck. And we all know you can be a man as well as completely unfuckable at the same time.

  • Here in Portugal, most display useful info like date, time, outside temperature (with varying degrees of accuracy),

We have ones like this in the states too. My favorite near me is at a church. It cycles between temp and date, but the display has too few characters, so instead of just being two screens, date then temp, it's 3 - day and month, a second screen that just says "/24" and then the temp.
