I feel like this has been a growing concern since the NHS was founded all those years ago. The last 14 years certainly haven't helped, but this is far from a Tory Austerity issue.
Consecutive governments seem to have decided that access to quality dentistry should be the preserve of those willing to pay for private clinics, and the rest of us can make do, or better yet; skip the dentist entirely.
Larian are far from the only studio that's willing to do this. The Witcher 2 features a choice after the first act that locks off one pathway in its entirety. It's probably 5-10 hours of content that's locked out until you play the game again (or load and make another choice I guess).
That said, I agree with your point, I wish we had more developers that are willing to take that risk.
Not wishing to diminish the headline, but I think your average Brit probably has a pretty poor understanding of British History that falls outside of the 'WW2' years.
Ultimately we know what we're taught, and unless it's changed significantly in the last 15 years then you're basically taught about the Cold War and Vietnam, some random WW2 things and that's about it?
It's kind of alarming how many issues people are having with these smart meters. And I'll admit, I'm just a dude, I'm sure there's more going on under the hood than I could understand......but most of the problems seem to be based on shortsighted, or downright poor decision making that dates back to the very start of the project.
I think I'm in the final act now, and the only real complaint I have is with the >!MJ sections, which just feel stiff compared to the rest of the game, that could be entirely a personal preference thing though!<.
If there was ever a game that I'd describe as a 'Popcorn game', it'd be this one. There's always something fun and engaging to do, moving your character around the world is fun and I never feel like they're filling for length or that they aren't respecting my time.
I'm a big sports guy and I rarely see random sports posts in the wild. Could OP be viewing the "all" page maybe? We had a similar issue a few days ago with Elon Posts and I wonder if it's not a similar issue here?
If you're forced to rent because you can't get on the housing ladder, you should be allowed to have an animal as a pet. Full stop. That's the sentence.
If the landlord doesn't like that it may affect their investment, well... sometimes investments go bad. Might I suggest selling the house and investing in a market that isn't built around the exploitation of regular people trying to not die on the street.
I work in a warehouse. 50hrs a week, constant surveillance, pittance wages, almost hourly conversations with your supervisor about how they need you to give it a "push". I've worked crap jobs before, but this is something else.
Had the week off, and I'm back to work tomorrow. I can already feel my mood changing as I think about going back. I think it's time to change it up. I shouldn't dread work.
I'm probably going to play Lords when it's cheaper. I've just finished Lies of P and I'm working my way through Dark Souls Remastered, and with Spider-Man and that new Mario game, I'm officially maxed out with regards to game time.
