Elon Musk Is a Mouthpiece for South Africa’s White Far Right

  • You know, it's wild that poorly reviewing a GPU cooler can lead to stuff like this coming out.

  • Professional content creators probably aren't going to like the Fediverse in general since the design inherently limits their reach and there's just fundamentally less money in it for them. I don't think it works as a profession in its current form here.

  • I decided to go check and lmao. The joys of using beta software.

  • It's when you connect two unrelated platforms. If PeerTube had a YouTube bridge it would be able to play YouTube content directly on all of its instances without people having to re-upload anything.

  • The only real hardware problems I come across these days with Linux is WiFi cards being shit. As far as I'm concerned, carefully selecting hardware is a problem for the *BSDs at this point. Am I missing something?

  • But why? Nintendo controllers are already pretty small.

  • Hot damn! Thank you, EU. Maybe we'll finally be able to climb out of connector hell.

  • Yeah, it should honestly be a standard primer. I've seen so many OPSEC blunders over the years caused by carelessness and ignorance.

  • It's ok, some of my best friends are cheeses.

  • Think he'll smell like pizza when they cremate him?

  • The list of presidents is essentially a list of criminals. Hopefully Trump will be the start of a trend of prosecuting these ghouls; it's fun to imagine.

  • Hardware and the fact that their products became bourgie status symbols. Their aesthetic game is on point and UI is fairly polished, but their software can be super limited in annoying ways.

  • Apple's big selling point has never been their software.

  • Vim was a huge game changer for the editor world and the site itself was always recognizable for those African charities. We lost one of the old school greats on that day and it's a real shame. 🫡

  • It's an open standard for granting clients access to APIs without needing to hand over things like your password each time.

  • True, it is like a breath of fresh air. I've thought that the internet has felt cancerous for at least a decade at this point, but with the Fediverse everything has felt so nice again for the first time in ages.

  • Nvidia drivers. Back in 2019, I was looking to replace my Nvidia card with an AMD one, but decided I could put that off for a few months. Then COVID happened along with the cryptocurrency boom and prices skyrocketed to unreasonable levels. Nvidia drivers are honestly the last holdout on my machine barring perhaps some firmware somewhere.
