  • Unfortunately I thought he was good in Quantumania. The writing wasn't good and the movie was terrible. But his acting did a pretty good job of showing that he was imposing, but stunted. I didn't love Loki S2, but his acting wasn't bad.

Honestly, it just sucks even more for him that his acting is wasted. I'm not craving more. Loki S1 was phenomenal and I don't know that they were ever going to reach that level again. And he'll never get to prove that he can.

  • Bloody scenes? The whole game is made up of bloody scenes unless you're intentionally avoiding doing the finishers. And even then it's just less so.

  • Just like the polls that show McDonald's, Taco Bell, or Chic fil a as America's favorite restaurant in X state. It doesn't take too many idiots to outweigh everyone else.

  • A couple reasons.

Bernie and the Democrats are going to align 90% of the time (just like with Manchin on the other end of the spectrum). Basically, the other party is anti-America. So being pro-America makes you a de facto Democrat.

Since we don't have Ranked Choice Voting or any other system that is conducive to multiple parties, primaries allow directionally aligned candidates to decide who is most popular to avoid splitting the vote. This isn't necessary if a candidate has enough support for it to not matter. (Bernie is an independent in congress, but he ran as a Democrat in his presidential runs.)

  • Business/tech conservatives fucking love them. And a lot of apathetic Americans (which is most) literally do not care about any of the Elon stuff. They just see an EV car.

Now, the only market for Cybertrucks are the douchiest rich tools. There's other cooler EV trucks if they didn't want to buy a drivable billboard.

...Actually, the only people who SHOULD want it are people with a business because it actually works pretty well as a drivable billboard.

  • So, similar to the non-conforming clothing bill that was changed to be obscene clothing because the former was blatantly unconstitutional (although I'm surprised they didn't want the fight).

Except that was targeted at everyone (specifically drag, but all ages) where this targets kids. So I'm guessing the argument is "child abuse".

  • Not efficient enough? I'm sure he meant that they need to deport the right people. But to Trump more efficient means deporting them faster. He's still confused why Melania is still here.

  • That of course he should run, he's the incumbent. Its exactly what podSave was putting out. Then it was that it was too late to swap. Then when we were swapping, it was that we just had to accept Kamala as she was. That we couldn't and shouldn't try to move her to more electable positions. All that bullshit.

None of that is true. I listened to every episode and it was CONSTANTLY a discussion. Should he drop out? Does it matter if he should, because he isn't? Is it too late? Does it matter if it's too late because it's better than Biden? Should there be a discussion on who replaces him? Does it matter since nobody is stepping up? Does Kamala actually need a primary challenger to prove she could handle it (or that she couldn't)?

I think you focus on the times that they said, what is the reality of the situation and what do you do with that. And you're ignoring the rest of the times where they were discussing everything else.

  • I see multiple different definitions of what "blue maga" is in your post between denial and pro-Trump rhetoric. And your laundry list in the first pic straight up shows how full of shit you are.

You're a lot closer to MAGA than any of the shit you're claiming. Complete with conspiracy theories, denialism, and again baseless accusations.

  • It's pretty clear you're going to hear whatever you want from me and anyone else. You're no different from what you're attacking.

  • I think you're projecting your own frustrations about the Democratic leadership because most of what you're saying is wrong. There was a lot more discourse and a lot less defense than you're remembering.

I'm not sure what your definition of Blue Maga is. But if it's accusations against anyone that doesn't support whatever you think with undying loyalty, that sounds like you. I'm not saying that the absolute defense people doesn't exist, but that's not them. And your absolutism is just as bad as what you're complaining about.

  • I mean, look, you are probably going to take this the wrong way, and you should.

I'm not sure what I could take the wrong way. I think you were pretty straightforward.

I do think you're partly wrong about their pod though. They're pretty analytical. I find that they try not to take sides too much within the left, but they do try to understand and they're pretty honest when it's clear. When they do take a position on divisive wedge issues (within the Democratic Party) they tend to land progressive (not Leftist or liberal).

Calling them blue maga is some retarded shit though, FR. And I wish that's what neolibs were, we'd all be a lot better off. I think maybe you're just upset that they aren't completely radicalized?

  • I like the Crooked products, specifically Pod Save America. I wouldn't call them strictly progressive or liberal because they're far too analytical to be a blind cheerleader. Some of the other podcasts under their umbrella do get into the cheerleader effect a bit though.

  • Pokemon Master Trainer

  • He's also lazy with no sense of nuance. If there's an easy way to do something, he'll do it. Pardon all Jan 6ers, deport all illegals (or all immigrants), let someone else handle shit, whatever is easiest.

  • My question for them was when they say it still holds up, which Xbox are they playing it on. Because playing it on the the Xbox One or Series cuts the load times down to almost nothing. If they're playing on the OG, then they are still experiencing the ungodly load times.

It was one of a handful of games that made the original Xbox worth having and one of my favorite games of all time (my other favorite being on the PS2). But I wouldn't want to replay it on that console.

  • Oblivion has to be the absolute worst implementation of "enemies level up as you do" that I've ever played.

Get rid of that and make the characters look halfway normal, and I'd be stoked.

  • I love MW on Xbox (wait, original Xbox or a newer Xbox?) for multiple reasons. It's on a console already hooked up to my TV (ie convenience). It supports a controller without any extra setup. You can use something like JoyToKey, but you have to set it up just right. It supports omnidirectional movement. Even if you set up your controller on PC, it still only supports 8 directions. The Dark Brotherhood doesn't come after you until level 5.

I don't use mods, so there's really downside.

  • On the flip side, Dems will regularly get that much of the vote in really red areas.
