I love both formats. But I'm a collector. Any big games or anything I'm buying at full price, I'm buying it physical. Baulder's Gate 3 kinda left my radar early because it was digital only (at release).
I also like the ability to loan out those types of games.
I appreciate the support. I actually do post in those situations. And when I say there isn't a Lemmy equivalent, I mean those communities are dead.
I just like to see what other people's reactions are, and I like to see some of other people's content from time to time. Also, I don't mind supporting those subs that stood up to the 3rd party app purge.
I have an account for a few specific subs (that shut down during the strike) that don't have Lemmy equivalents. But I really don't browse. The only time I get on there is to check reactions to big events (football games, new movies, etc). And even then it's pretty rare.
They ruled that one time that states can't unilaterally overrule the will of the people. That was nice. But that's how low the bar is, people weren't sure if they would completely override democracy (yet).
One ignored point is that Democratic voter turnout was especially low in safe blue. Dejected Democratic voters still largely came out in swing states (still not enough). They didn't come out in states that didn't matter, Republican voters showed up even when it didn't.
If you make the election popular I'd wager Kamala wins. Make voter turnout mandatory, and she'd win by more.
Soon they'll make sexual partners register with the state or straight up make premarital sex illegal. And anyone found breaking the law (i.e. women getting pregnant) will go to jail.
That's fair. But it was fantastic and I'm glad it was written with only one season in mind.
I wish they had wrapped up Loki for one season and made the cliffhanger as a setup for the movies or something.
