  • Who cares what other people think of you're having fun?

Personally, I've never really had a good experience with mobile games. I keep trying, but the games I get recommended seem shallow, and I have a serious aversion to ads so that ruins most mobile experiences for me. The games I have enjoyed on mobile are mostly puzzle games, or clones and ports of games from other systems. But who cares what I think if you have fun. My partner spends way more time playing games on their phone than on PC or PS5. Different strokes, and all that.

  • I stopped for a long time, but I've continued with the launches of things like Metalocalypse or Venture Bros. Smaller productions that I want to support but aren't streaming in my country.

Heck, back when Metalocalypse released their first movie there was a limited edition version with a skull cup that was only available in Australia for some reason. I imported the set for my SO, and I had to rip the bluray myself :/

  • My dad always said that it should fit an 4x8 sheet of plywood laying down. Also that if you don't need to haul 4x8 sheets of plywood on the regular then you probably don't need a truck.

I've never owned a truck, and there honestly hasn't been mant times when my Mazda 3 wont do. . Six drawer dresser - check. Queen size mattress-check. Hockey bags and kids- check. Visitors from the airport and luggage- check. Ikea furniture-sometimes sticks out the back.

  • I'm always curious how long people spend staying at their desktops. My laptop has six virtual desktops and I can't see the background on any of them.

One for each uni course and one for general use, and they all have 2-3 windows open. It's super handy for school since I can just swipe and pick up where I left off on every course.

Edit: That's not to take away from a gorgeous desktop. It looks really nice.

  • This guy thinks you can do what you want with Windows.

Disabling updates is such a ridiculous thing because sometimes it works, and sometimes Windows just ignores you.

I've literally had two exact model laptops running as local render servers, fully updated, then disabled updates/reboots on both, around a month later one updated and rebooted dumping my workload and corrupting my database. Disabling anything on Windows doesn't always work, it does what it wants.
