I betcha its not too hard to put a faux skin on one of these to make it look like an actual animal, which from a distance would be potentially hard to tell apart from an real animal. As long as it's used in the middle of nowhere,
It would probably be great for send drugs over remote parts of the border.
who asks us tu put their shitstain straight in production today because our fucking moron of a manager told them so.
That right there is the problem. It's one thing to take a shitty piece of work from a non dev and use that to get an understanding of what the product should do, and it's another thing to just copy/paste it into prod.
2016-2020 was filled to the brim with daily headlines of all the stupid, backward, hateful, fascist shit trump & co were up to. The next n years will be no better.
Arguably, that's for the best. If somebody with domain knowledge knows enough to make a basic form that's needed with HTML and Javascript (ignoring keeping the Javascript part), it makes it very easy for the devs to take that, run with it, and turn it into an actual product.
It’s not necessarily religion that is the problem here. It’s that people who don’t have critical reasoning skills are drawn to religion.
Not in all cases, sure. But in quite a number of them religion is encouraging that kind of behavior. They tell themselves and others to have faith, to not rely upon evidence, that testing god is a sin, etc. They actively discourage critical thinking and reasoning skills, which is a catalyst for the more dangerous stuff like qanon, anti vaccine rhetoric, etc.
We might still be in this boat without religion, but at the very least we'd have less holes.
