  • It's farcical.

When a company introduces something consumers want, we will research and find a way to get it and use it ASAP. Nobody needs to interrupt our workflow to tell us about it. I don't remember getting any in-app notifications for the Gmail select all "feature," but I figured it out pretty damn quickly.

  • Hunters fly with firearms sometimes. It just depends on the customs regulations. I've seen it at the airport. You check the bag and declare it. I'm sure there's some amount of paperwork, depending on the country.

  • Go to the dentist. Get a little exercise. Find a way to reduce calories over the next 20 years, spend as little as possible. Borrow a little money for your car. Stay away from credit cards until you make enough to pay the cards in full every month. Keep track of every skill you learn on the job, using that information to transition into higher-paying jobs. Get a savings account. Spend as little as possible without skimping on food quality. Save 1 months salary and keep that in checking. At the end of each month, transfer everything above the target funds into savings. Save 3 months salary for an emergency fund. Once this financial foundation is established, divide additional funds into two buckets: one gets invested each month, the other is for major purchases and travel.

  • All joking aside, you have to assume they're going to challenge her candidacy and eventual legitimacy in court. Debating her is not only politically ill advised, but also a tacit agreement that she's a legitimate candidate.

  • I'm going to think about that and get back to you. I think it's mostly intuitive, based on many years of experience, but I'm not sure at this point.

I also have to mention that I was half joking. I don't use YT all that much for my profession. I would, but it's just not entirely relevant.

  • If that were the case, there wouldn't be an application and interview process.

There are often multiple candidates for a given position.

Edit: I read this as "no one" rather than "someone."

I understand that someone on earth might not want any given job.

  • I honestly have no Idea what AI does to a processor, and would therefore not pay extra for the badge.

If it provided a significant speed improvement or something, then yeah, sure. Nobody has really communicated to me what the benefit is. It all seems like hand waving.

  • Sitting quietly.

I used to require constant distraction from my thoughts. I would keep my local NPR station on in the background, just to have something to distract me from the running monologue and dialogues in my head.

I had to do a lot of psychological/spiritual work, but at this point I can say that sitting quietly is extremely rewarding and comfortable.

  • I just started Survival, and the day-cycle rhythm of playing is intense.

I love when it's my bedtime, but there's still a few hours of Wasteland sunshine before my character gets her full 8 hours of sleep.

    The luxury I deny myself.
