I work with a team of people from all over the world , and the word “eggplant” came up the other day. They asked me why Americans call an “aubergine” an “eggplant.”

So I showed them a photo of an unripe eggplant:

I’ve always imagined he’s singing:

“simply halving a wonderful Christmas time,”

…because every time he sings that refrain, the wonderfulness of my Christmas is half of what it was prior. By the end of the song my Christmas wonder has been reduced to an infinitesimal level.

That’s… why he’s there.

The “majority” of voters (allegedly) have let the fox run the hen house. Oil industry profits are apparently more important than our children’s futures.

It’s rhetorical at this point. “trump will pardon him” is more or less an indictment that he & his party approve of these sort of crimes.

I guess a better remark would be “If trump were allowed, he’d pardon them. He’ll still try, probably.”

Statistically, that’s not necessarily true….

My bad. I even read the article twice and still my brain got muddled. I’ve corrected my comment.

This article is literally about someone being shot at & killed before they could attack a big group of people who are “doing something about it.”

What worst is that a significant amount of respondents said that he should ignore them.

I hate trump as much as any reasonable person, but that’s just stretching it.

Alleged perpetrator was questioned by officers on the scene, subject was asked to identify who is a good boy, and if he (alleged perp) is indeed the good boy. Alleged perp responded in the affirmative and was released with no further questions.

My last loaf (who passed away almost exactly one year ago) was an “extra fluffy / toasted / moldy” blend.
