Every other queens of the stone age record is an instant classic. They're probably my favorite band and I genuinely dislike half their stuff.

Counterpoint: congress does their jobs exactly how their corporate owners want them to. Congress does not serve the best interests of the people.

I think it's pretty scary. Completely overwhelming the media and internet with near-infinite variations of their propaganda is the most powerful way I can imagine for them to carry out the stuff you're more worried about, with even less resistance.

It's not the lack of AI safeguards themselves that worry me, it's the constant stream of propaganda drowning out reality that worries me.

Not currently. Except for starvation wage retail. Tech hiring is still mostly frozen and smaller companies tend to just copy larger ones.
