All I gathered from your post is that you want to ditch DDG because of a newsletter issue. Please explain your privacy and security concerns.

In my opinion, the biggest problem with Linux is it requires tinkering in terminal which nearly every non-tech savvy person finds intimidating. Even if it's a simple command. Until Linux has a shiny dumbed-down GUI for everything you need to do, it won't catch on for the average PC user.

Linux has made incredible progress in this area though. But, everytime I use a new Linux install, I encounter errors or something that requires troubleshooting and terminal use.

I think I surprising amount of people are likely just "faking it". I hope one day we can collectively cut the BS and all admit we don't know what we're doing.

If I ended up in the Pokemon universe, I'd be fighting for Pokemon rights. Clearly, these creatures are fully sentient. They fluently understand human language, and even one (Meowth) can speak. We have no right to capture and force them to fight. Also, I would fight to help teach them human languages or unlock the secrets to their "language", so we may better communicate.

Jimmy Dore. Started watching in 2015. He was consistently about progressivism and brought awareness to causes such as Medicare for All. As the channel grew, he slowly became more deranged. COVID came and he found a larger audience spouting anti-vax dog whistles. The channel is now tabloid anti-vax, pro-putin, hot garbage.

Never underestimate the stupidity of voters.
