I wouldn’t normally think it’s a big deal to mix up two similar-sounding cities— once I got on a flight to Greenville and the flight attendant got on the speaker and said “welcome to flight [xxx] to Greensboro,” causing momentary panic— but this is part of a pattern. He recently has said he beat Obama in an election, that Jeb Bush was president, that Biden could get us into World War II, and several more. Taken in isolation any of these things could be dismissed as a slip of the tongue but taken all together, it does suggest the guy might be losing his grip.
I’m aware of that, and I’m in the part not represented by her, but I still sent Frisch a contribution. People hear Colorado and they think of her. It’s embarrassing for all of us.
I don’t know anything about UK law but in my observations, giant corporations with tons of cash and armies of lawyers solicitors do what they want. I could be wrong but it is just my cynical view, not legal advice.
If you're in Colorado and are sick and tired of your beautiful state being associated with this low-rent Sarah Palin, you might be interested in supporting Adam Frisch
It means, for one thing, that Democrats really screwed up big by going with Gaetz's plan to oust the previous speaker, who was all kinds of awful, but nothing compared to this guy.
How can it not? If you have a $40k system, you will make enough electricity to avoid paying for electricity at all. You will probably even get a small check from the power company every month. Add up the check and the old utility bill and I bet it beats bank interest on 40k by a mile. Not to mention you are probably eligible for some tax incentives.
When this was announced, my opinion was that only hobbyists would even be interested in gas powered cars by 2035. I have to admit I thought the transition to electric vehicles would pick up pace a little quicker more suddenly than it has so far, but there’s still time to have my prediction come true.
I’ll never understand the people that can’t differentiate the things parents have the right to decide for their children and the government having the power to decide for everyone and their children.
About a third of the houses in my neighborhood have gone solar. My household was one of the first to do it about five years ago and every time I go for a walk I notice a new one that popped up. Our solar system payment is about half what our electric bill used to be and we make more electricity than we use every month of the year, even with charging a plug-in hybrid car. Far from “no one is going to do it.” I frankly don’t understand why more people don’t do it.
That's interesting I've been on Mastodon for just over a year and nobody has mentioned Linux yet.
