  • A worldwide pandemic was not Trump's fault. If you want to blame him for anything, blame him for listening to Foucci, who was seen as the expert and advising him on what to do. And actually, trump left it up to state governments on whether to follow Foucci's advice. A lot less businesses closed in places like Florida and Arizona because they didn't shut everything down.

Latinos voted for trump because they were sick of smug elites telling them they needed to alter their own language (latinx was a huge failure among the latino population), and how their hard work and earnings didnt really add up to what they felt it did, because of their skin color. Top it off with claiming that even though butter in places like CA is $7 and eggs are $6, the economy was actually better than ever before, and they were just too stupid to understand that.

Loving all these mask-off moments. You're still here, telling Latinos that they actually didnt vote how they did because of reasons they gave, must be because they liked COVID era lockdowns or something.

  • Yup. Crazy hyped up fear is the single most used tool the media has to throw at whoever the Dems don't like. Tulsi too, when she didn't bow to DNC pressure, was suddenly a "Russian asset". Hillary Clinton couldn't get on air fast enough to smear her. It was sick.

  • Do you think Dems aren't backed by billionaires? Gates, Bezos, Soros, Oprah, the list continues. But what, the single billionaire throwing $$ at the trump campaign is the big evil baddie? Because he has a few more billions?

  • There is zero proof that he'll be a dictator. My source is that he was president for 4 years and was not a dictator.

The only thing you're basing your claim on is an offhand joke he made about fully shutting down the borders on the first day, then opening them back up with better safeguards. If you watch the whole clip, you'll understand that.

  • He wasn't "democratically popular" because the Dems suppressed all support he had. All those news medias that have been hounding on trump being the worst thing since Hitler? Yeah, they used that same power to stifle anyone who had an iota of a chance to get votes

  • What??? We literally saw democracy play out. You can't even use the excuse that he lost the popular vote, he won every type of democratic way we have.

You know what wasn't democracy? Installing candidates into primaries over democratically popular candidates. Hillary in 2016, Biden in 2020 and Kamala in 2024. In every single one of these primaries, they did everything they could to shut down anyone popular who showed any sign of having a backbone, even though they killed democracy as it happened.

What we saw was a backlash to a stifling of democracy. Democracy won last night.

  • Because I look at policy and results. Actual peace, actual economic benefits, and damn, do I love his transition team.

I think the worst thing the Dems did for their party was rig their primaries. Bernie was a big one, I think it would have altered the course of the next few elections for sure. And then when they did it to Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang... and this year to RFK jr...

Whoever is making the controlling decisions behind the party facade wanted puppets instead of genuine leaders, and they chased the good candidates out. The ones who had integrity (Tulsi, RFK), reached out to see what was going on on the other side and found good footing there. I followed.

If I see a clip, I search out the full video for context. If I read a quote, I search out where that quote came from to get context. When context is inserted, it turns out Trump is incredibly decent, and I like it over here.

And bring that spider on, I've got a giant-ass lynx cat and a guardian dog, both of which love munching on spiders.

  • Best answer because even in this thread you've been down voted.

I voted for him myself and have for sure been down voted for it on here, over and over again.

Haven't been banned though, so I've got that going for me, which is nice.

  • Honestly? Kinda lonely. I'll be 40 in a few months. I'm a woman, if the perspective matters .

I was engaged to the man I thought I'd marry and have kids with, but it didn't turn out to be the case, and although I learned how to choose better and what to look out for, I also wonder if I'm ever going to get to have a family of my own. It's been 6 years now since that fell apart, and I had to do a lot in that time to get back onto my feet, but the few relationships I've had since then are fleeting. Men seem afraid of commitment now, and it's hard not to completely fall to the idea that I'm just too old, which is what society is consistently screaming at me.

    I don't feel old.

I am tired of searching though. At some point I will get to where I'm too old and that makes me sad to think about.

  • Cycling on the road.

On the one hand, biking is great and they should be able to bike on any road! And we should be careful when driving near them, it's super scary being so unprotected and so close to metal speed bombs hurling around them.

On the other hand, road bikers are fucking annoying, stay in your goddamn lane and stop slowing down traffic. I'm not reading your dumb hand signals, either!
