These "F*g" candy sticks from the 1980's (F@g is a another word for cigarette in the U.K and Australia)

  • Yep, I remember when they stopped calling them candy cigarettes and just changed them to the candy sticks. They also had candy cigars, but I don't remember trying those myself.

  • So this is dumb but there is a Mummy game, as on the movie, I think on PS2. You could play through as either O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) or Imhotep (he was fun but pretty overpowered). I don't remember there being a difficulty setting but I could be wrong.

    I beat it with Imhotep but never could beat it with O'Connell. I want to say the final boss was the Scorpion King. I tried so many times.

    The only thing I can figure is I didn't load up on as much ammo, grenades, equipment, etc. as possible and never went back to try differently.

  • I've actually been testing with fish recently coming from zsh, though I might wait until 4.0 fully releases before I make a more conclusive decision to move or not.

    With that said, I remember looking through omf themes and stumbled onto Starship that branched off one of the themes and really liked the concept.

  • +1 for EndeavourOS here. For 90% of what I do, it was a virtually seamless transition. Only hang up is a few games, VR, etc.

  • Oh I don't doubt that I'd enjoy it, I just rarely pay full price for games anymore. It gives me StarCraft vibes.

    Perhaps when I've tired myself of Satisfactory, I'll pick it up, if it still hasn't gone on sale by then.

    In the meantime though, I also have Mindustry.

  • I've been watching for a sale, if that ever happens. I just picked up Satisfactory on sale and had a similar conversation with a friend. I said I'm definitely the target demographic for it and Factorio is the other on radar.

  • Directly through the manufacturer. Most offer trade-in promotions on par with, if not better than, any service provider deal, with the added bonus that you're not locked into a 3 year installment plan with said provider.

    Alternatively, eBay.

  • They do have a block/hide option but it's pretty obscure and involves going to the channel's page. I'm not sure about mobile, but on desktop it shows up when you click to Report the channel, though reporting isn't required.
