I picked up an Onn 4k streaming Box from Walmart for $20 that uses Android TV. It supports Bluetooth for mouse and keyboard and with a usb hub can handle additional usb ports.

Also supports more advanced tinkering if you'd like to sideload apps such as SmartTubeNext for ad and sponsor blocking on YouTube.

I think you might also be able to load a third party launcher to de-google it more, but I haven't tried that yet.

Yeah, I know it's black and white but some younger folks seem to way overestimate the quality of older television. This looks like it may have actually been HD, or at least higher SD.

I mean that's already happening at some big companies now.

Will it last? My guess is no, but they'll enjoy saving the money that they would pay human beings in the mean time.

My hope is just that they'll suffer losses due to a drop in product quality and start struggling, but let's face it, the big tech companies are almost never the ones' that are actually hurt by their decisions.

Actually I've seen more and more gas stations start carrying no ethanol recently. It used to be extremely limited and the biggest chain I knew of that offered it was Phillips 66, but now the top 3 chains in my area offer it.

That's likely more from personal preference and not having looked for it at the grocery store. I was more remembering the old monkey(?) commercials and everyone talking about it because it was from "NASA."

That's wild. We did have an old antique rotary phone though! My sister and I would play with it like a toy unplugged but it was also perfectly functional. You just had to be fast because it seemed like in later years the 'timeout' between dialing numbers had gotten shorter. You'd have to dial two 9's in a row and before you could finish the second 9, you'd get some kind of "I'm sorry, the number you have reached is not available" message.

Popeye was one of my favorite shows I remember watching over and over and over again. Singing and acting it out. I also had recordings of the Pink Panther and I think one of, if not the first animated Superman movies or cartoons.

That's also an old memory you unlocked of a home video of myself maybe 3-4 ish "playing Popeye" singing "Popeye the sailor man, toot toot!" and I would take a drink from my Dad's cup pretending it was spinach and acting like my biceps popped out and then promptly sneezing in my Dad's face.
