  • Clearly OP didn't go for the obvious pun to generate comment engagement.

  • I'd argue that demotivational posters were even older, right? These were even printed out before internet access was wide spread.

  • I also like it but it didn't feel any healthier than regular milk, I don't have the macros in mind anymore but I think half full milk was better when I did look it up a while ago.

  • Different parts of astrology. The MBTI stuff replaces the horoscope/personality side of things, whereas chart reading replaces the future readings.

  • No joke, I have a few of these trigger-smells, and one of them is a specific shade of sewage fragrance, the kind that comes back from canalisations on a hot day. Takes me back to around 8 years old.

  • That's one hell of a lock on that luggage.

  • Some companies are trying to do it right, looking at DaVinci Resolve's new beta they're trying hard to implement it in ways that leaves you in control but reduce the grind.

  • Looks like it's a bit nippy out there, brrrr.

  • Probably start with one or a few cool scientists with that original purpose, then by the time it can take life it's gone through the enshittification machine.

  • What you wanna do is it's closer to 1 rat hair per pound too often, add some yourself so it keeps rising the 3/lb limit, otherwise next year they'll change the quota!

  • Just right 👌

  • The one on the left is a true SIC (Standard Issue Cat) and while I could definitely still tell them apart with my cat even if not next to each other, SICs are pretty similar for sure, for example they all have the M on the forehead. The other one has some white bits so totally different as far as I'm concerned. Cutie pies btw!

  • In this economy?

  • It looks more like it's made from off the shelf parts, I think. Still had to design and assemble it though 👌

  • I think that one's coming as retaliation to the flat 20% so in like a month or three.

  • Yep, I'm European, I had my savings in a world ETF until last week when I pulled them out. Right now, they'd be higher than they were when I sold. Does it hurt a bit? Sure. Do I even consider going back in? Fuck no.

This kinda volatility is great if you're a degenerate gambler or have the insider knowledge. I'm neither of these things and I'm in a personal situation where I don't know when I'm gonna need these funds, ideally it's in 20/30 years but no guarantees, and also I'm not in a position to keep buying monthly right now and since the last couple of years.

Now I'm just gonna sit on it for a while, and find ways to park my savings as far from the US as possible, certainly not in a world fund anymore which are 60/70% US exposure.

Congrats, they successfully pushed me and many like me out of the market so they can keep "the game" to themselves.

  • Lmao the image of a coyote with a belt of iPhones around its belly and a laser mounted on a rotating turret on its back chasing the dot across the border is quite something.

  • Same as it ever was, governments sucking ass while the people are just... People... Even EU governments suck ass, just maybe ever so slightly less in recent history and even that I'm not sure of (not counting the current slide to the far right obviously).

  • I mean 5 people died, and if you go read their first link you'll see injuries are common and on the rise (it's the whole premise of the article). Theyare dangerous, the fact they're really good at it and aren't constantly dying doesn't change that? It's like saying corrida isn't dangerous because they don't get gored by the bull every time.

  • Oh wow that's indeed way less than I would've thought. Still dangerous IMO but clearly the people doing it are very good at it.
