Yeah but the DJI maps don't match at all with the official ones at least here in Europe so it's really just right next to the airports etc when the actual no-fly zone is a 10km circle. That's what I mean actually, they do have all the abilities but just don't implement it properly. Don't get me wrong I'd rather my expensive tool just do what I ask it to without being a nanny, but just saying the technology is there.
Most restaurant or premade Cesar salads are not that healthy and have just as much calories as other options. Lettuce in itself is basically just water with a small amount of nutrients so eating it does basically nothing (positive or negative), for some people it might help with satiety by giving you a full stomach feeling but personally I'd rather not chew on greens for hours like a ruminant and prefer to drink ample water alongside/after my meal for the same effect while making sure I eat plenty of vegetables for the actual good nutrients etc.
Anyway yeah these Cesars from restaurants etc are doused in sauce and have a bunch of calorie-dense ingredients so they're not always a great choice (but fine to have as long as they fit your calorie allowance, just like anything else). Just make sure to balance your carb/fat/protein ratio and not go over the calories, but otherwise just eat whatever you want!
There's definitely a few still alive in France. Not that many years ago I was dealing with a major retailer there that still wanted orders faxed in, they've moved on but I'm sure a lot smaller places still have them.
Right, the "pilot" was definitely breaking the rules big time (and just generally being a dumbass, if you see the firefighters planes/helicopters and don't land the drone I don't know wtf is wrong with you).
Just saying, these sub-250 exceptions are pretty stupid because now everyone is getting one of these, and not paying any attention to the rules because "my drone doesn't count".
That person probably never even looked at the drone map (not even just that day, like, ever). So they'd never know there was a no-fly in place. DJI is also partly to blame to be honest because the drones definitely have the ability to warn you about it or even prevent you from taking off but they don't.
Source: I'm a certified drone pilot in Europe flying professionally.
I guess we have most of the ingredients to make this happen. Software-wise we're there, hardware wise I'm still waiting for AR glasses I can replace my normal glasses with (that I wear 24/7 except for sleep). I'd accept having to carry a spare in a charging case so I swap them out once a day or something but other than that I want them to be close enough in terms of weight and comfort to my regular glasses and just give me AR like overlaid GPS, notifications, etc, and indeed instant translation with subtitles would be a function that I could see having a massive impact on civilization tbh.
Yeah looking into it this morning I see that it's only that some parents have forbidden their divorced spouses from posting pics of the kids online, basically you need to have parental approval (I know because the daycare asked us if we'd allow them, we don't). So yeah I guess as long as the parents are doing it, it's legal. Feels so wrong.
I could've sold mine for a good chunk of change when I quit way back when, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I still renew now and then, spend a few days setting up addons and catching up on the game just to realise there's no way this fits my schedule anymore so cancel again.
"Calories" that would otherwise be burned by the escalator (electricity), I'm sure it uses more when under load, some of them even go in low speed mode when no one's on it.
Sure they could, obviously the higher in price the more tanky they get so I'd trust brands in order of pro -> prosumer -> knockoffs like anything else but yeah film sets can stay on for hours on end, sometimes in conditions much less cozy than your kitchen. They'll typically come with some form of passive or active cooling (fans or mechanical dissipation with radiators).
I'd steer clear of battery powered models even if most of these can be run with a plug as well just because you'll pay extra but if you go for tubes or the small panels.
I'm just now realising your question is whether you could use them in regular fixtures as in screw them in and yes there's also options for that from a few brands, they can even charge from the power of the light fixture itself, they're not cheap the ones on my "might buy" list are the godox C7R but you could go for the C10Rs. I don't see why they'd last any less long than standard LEDs but I might not be aware of it. At that point you're paying Hue prices though so not sure if they're the best tools for the job since the daily use aspect of a system like hue is way more adapted for home use.
Came here to recommend video lights. There's some cheap options available these days which will offer you full RGB or Kelvin scale control, flicker free, etc. Check Godox Neewer, Sirui, Smallrig, Amaran for "budget" but still reliable brands, or try your luck on Amazon/AliExpress with no name brands which would probably still do the trick depending what your usage is. You could go for a small tube or panel for example (options are endless).
Isn't he written by a British author? Haha. Mais c'est bien quand même, c'est vrai qu'il est belge dans le texte.
