We’ve been using drones to search buildings for like 15 years already? Sure troops will be needed to secure a population, but drones will be the front line.

And the end of tanks since WWI… where tanks were first introduced? Wut.

This is like WWI or more aptly the Spanish Civil War, giving us a taste of the next major conflict. Which will be nothing but drones clouding out the sun. They can make quicker decisions, carry bigger payloads, go longer and “save” soldiers lives. There’ll be little reason for forward deployments other than deploying air defense and limited support.

Considering he survived the last bribery corruption scandal, I’d assume there’s little chance he’s gonna resign without something huge.

I’m so tired of people saying the headline was misleading because they lack basic reading comprehension… but that’s not the case here. Was expecting to see he threw his phone at the clerk or something.

College is very expensive in the US, with the average “in-state” school costing $26K/yr for someone who lives on campus and $56K/yr for a private institution. Since a majority of undergraduates are teenagers with virtually no savings, they take on loans to pay for college. Also unlike traditional loans where you can declare bankruptcy, these loans are very difficult to get forgiven.

There obviously a lot more to it, but that’s the gist in three sentences.

I’ve since quit, but me and my friends would dispose of our butts properly. The problem is like a single asshole can toss 20+ butts in a day. So it’s really obvious when people are shitheads, but you’ll basically never notice people are functioning members of society.

Videos hosting or someway to more seamlessly share video content. The Reddit player sucked fat donkey dicks, but the idea of viewing video in a post instead of clicking out to some rando site is much preferred.

That’s just kinda the reality of demographics. Generally less people on the right than on the left, and those on the right are usually older, so still on Facebook. This site still over indexes with people on the left but so did Reddit when it first started.

What cities are preventing downtown residential construction? All the office construction was because it was more profitable. Cities are already bending backwards to developers.
