  • While I understand the individual desire for advance notice to make alternate arrangements; from a protest prospective it's much more effective if daycare is closed AND a whole bunch of business lose workforce for the days due to an inability to make alternate plans.

  • For a hypothesis to be statistically significant it needs to be at the very least 5% to reject the null.

No, the p-value has to be at least 5% to reject the null. Assuming a is 5% and it's a one tailed test not two tailed..

And of course there are huge problems with using a flat 5% is a statistical significance marker, BSAP banned it's use.

Finish your stats class and try again.

  • Perhaps something like this

In Switzerland, minimum frequency standards for public transport are enshrined in law – meaning each citizen can expect regular provision of bus and train services, even in rural areas. It is administrated at local level, with each of the country's 'cantons' setting out a framework for delivery.

In the Zurich canton, for instance, which is roughly comparable with South Yorkshire, England, and includes both urban and rural areas, villages of 300 people or more are guaranteed a bus service at least every hour. In the Bern canton, which is less densely populated than Devon, small villages get at least four and up to 15 return bus services each day.

In both places, schedules are aligned with railway timetables to ensure citizens can travel short or long distances with ease. Accessibility for disabled passengers is also a legal requirement.

  • So my thought with the time based pruning is that you can keep a backup that's X days old.

Let's say you keep 2 weeks. If there have been no problems with an image after 2 weeks of an update, you're probably good to go. If you have an issue during those 2 weeks, you can return to and image within those 2 weeks. If you've had no problems after 2 weeks, it's probably stable.

Adjust 2 weeks to whatever you're comfortable with.

  • [Ge] was completing a residency at the Public Health Agency of Canada. His research has focused on Indigenous health, anti-racism and decolonization.

I feel his research would make him extra qualified to call references to modern apartheid and settler colonialism.

  • Correct, it is the municipalities' responsibility, the home owner bit is some "don't block the sidewalk more heme clearing your own drive/walkway"

Why would the sidewalk be a homeowner responsibility?

Are homeowners required to clear the street in front of their property?
