All homes should be taxed based on land value rather than property value.

We have ambassadorial staff in Ukraine, and it's a very hot mess. Work doesn't stop just because a war is on.

We used to put the reduced staff in a nearby nation. Not sure if that's still necessary with improved telecoms, we can probably pull them all the way home.

Yeah, as other's have pointed out, I'm really underestimating the issues of the electoral college in the USA.

While I'm used to the issues of FPTP, I can't pretend to understand the basic premise behind the electoral college.

Independents can get elected and new parties can arrise in FPTP, despite being more difficult than some other systems; so my guess is that I'm wildly underestimatong the fuckery that is the electoral college.

It's doesn't mean anything because that's what everyone thinks the choices are.

If someone other than D or R started to get some serious traction, you could see a snowball over 8-12 years.

As someone who's been using the internet for decades, I'm saying this about the internet now.

Part of it is that windows and doors are way more efficient now.

If you want the whole house, you'll need to crack the box to get at the phase split as it comes in.

If you want to track individual circuits, you should be able to do it outside the box. It will work with single phase at least,but not sure about dual-phase; but those are usually reserved for heavy appliances like stoves and dryers.
