I have a friend who dropped his phone into a porta potty at a festival and then fished it out. Apparently he was drunk enough that he forgot about doing it and woke up in the morning wondering why his phone stank.

I’ve heard that it’s really subtle? Idk though, I don’t hear it either. I’ve had American coworkers make the aboot joke even when we both say about the same way to my ears.

I don’t. Like I said, it needs a lot of tweaking and the only time I have it do more than laying down the base for a function is at the beginning of a new project that’s not too important (like personal projects). I end up rewriting nearly everything anyway but it helps with getting over that initial overwhelmed feeling when staring in a blank file

I use AI for work and personal projects, sometimes even letting it generate file structures for me but damn does it ever need a lot of tweaking after generation to both work and be maintainable.

I don’t know how anything it spits out even works for those who just purely vibe code since it’s usually either wrong or broken.

I just keep my home folder backed up safely. The software installed doesn’t really matter to me since I can redownload things pretty quickly

That’s what I’m hoping but I believe the instruction set is different enough that there’d have to be emulation which would tank performance? Admittedly this isn’t really my area of expertise though so I have no idea

Took them like two decades but they finally almost killed Hackintosh :(. All it took was developing their own CPU

ARM macOS doesn’t but x86 CPUs are still supported by macOS for the time being. It’ll be a sad day for the Hackintosh community when they drop that support though

Honestly I do think it’s fair for him to stay considering he will 99% for sure win his dumb by election and have to move back in anyway. I picture it reversed with the NDP or something and I’d think the same thing. I do think it’s stupid that I KNOW people would be losing their minds if the NDP or Liberals were in the same position though.
