Golden rule for children near adult age: advise and inform not more. Her body her choice and all that, but especially her right to choose. There is fucking light going through it. For fiber you know the second somebody breaks it. You can even see the timing of fibers breaking in sequence. This does not change the fact the cable is broken and needs repair.

As you already said, it's caused by parents that don't give you a safe and living emotional environment in early childhood.

Don't forget about material wear due to UV radiation. ASA is good for outdoors projects, rugged, not as toxic and UV degradation is minimal.

I have the inverse problem. I have the tool and skill to use it - but this is a team sport with your partner. Except for extreme cases (like small finger size) having good team play outweighs any size concerns by far. And for the occasional outsize kink there is quality toys. Im gonna shit on your self hosting journey here for a bit. I'm sorry.

There is a reason sick people are in a location where people are close by to be able to react fast if shit hits the fan. What are you gonna do when you see your cat not moving at her favorite spot for too long? When are you gonna be sure she needs help? Then you call someone close by that needs 20 min to get there? And then another 30 to get to a vet? Does someone have a key to you apartment? Are they authorized to spend whatever at the vet?

Keep your ass at home and save the money until your cat is healthy again. Or give her into care so she is safe and not alone like any social animal like cats should not be for extended periods of time.
