Life is the only thing a human is guaranteed to have - and, as far as I’m concerned, we only get it once. To finish it early seems a terrible waste. It’s the only thing we’ll ever get to do. Might as well give it a bit of a go… it’s not like it goes on for ever, anyway.

In the UK a lot of kebab shops also do pizza but are run by Muslims so the “ham” on an Hawaiian pizza is most likely to be (halal) turkey meat with beetroot juice added…

I think it’s the “3rd term” bit specifically that is anti-USian, directly going against the two term limit written in the… constitution (?)

My take away is that non-USians seem to understand politics better; generally. I know that’s a gross generalisation but the amount of US people who think “team blue” is both liberal and left wing is just sad…

Well, right is a term relative to centre which is relative to left.

Political literacy classes are available online… the idea of anybody thinking Lemmy is right wing (whether it’s code or the majority of its user base) is hilarious and a bit sad at the same time.
