It literally depends on your morals… it’s a question only you can answer.

I have zero training in this field but once read a paper on this. I think it essentially said that ganja was ok (?) on its on but for people with “brewing psychosis” it could trigger/enable that breakdown.

The other problem might be that simply thinking about the possibility of an episode will freak you out - the existential dread would be very draining.

Me too - I can live happily with the fact that not everyone thinks like me; but I still want to know what the other people are thinking.

Without looking I’m pretty sure it was something about MLK’s dream speech where he mentions:

So, nothing massively contentious so far. The transcriber had capitalised the “B” of black but not the “W” of white. I suggested that seemed a very unequal way to address inequality. There was a mini downvote frenzy - eventually some diamond pointed out “AP” has a style guide that suggest capitalisation of one but not the other is correct. Seems weird, but there it is.

That’s something I’ve always wondered myself - I’m not sure why the spelling mutated, but then I’m not a native speaker.

I’d suggest “good” nationalism is having a bit of pride and care for where you live, a knowledge of your history, feeling comfortable in your ethnicity (as opposed to race) and welcoming other folk with similar aspirations and trying to improve life for everyone in your area… but that’s just my opinion.

The Spanish name Enrique can be diminutised to “Kike” (key-kay) but PlayStation network banned accounts with that name as the word in English is slur against Jews.

One of my favourite football chants:

Your last point all depends whether we take the spirit of the law or the letter of the law… but perhaps there could be a non-Dutch higher court to decide any contentious points?

The loss of openness, the limiting of education and work opportunities, the rise of bad nationalism, the fracturing of European unity and community, the isolation of being stuck between the EU and the US, the inability to pop over to France for lunch or Germany for a football game, the loss of stature in an evolving world, the backwards steps to being more insular… I don’t know. All these things and more “may” come to pass.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

The real price the UK will pay for Brexit should not be measured (and will probably not be remembered) in economic terms.

Whinging and whining - though not exactly identical in meaning - are pretty much the same word to all intents and purposes in casual language.
