Is this a subtle admission that they cheated? Or is he just implying that he injected so much cash into the campaign that he changed the campaign calculus. I fail to understand how money won the election. Supposedly the dems had over a billion dollars during the campaign, and they lost. So, then whats he trying to say? Money has decreasing returns after a certain level.

Probably not, but, at this point, he's been ruling by executive order, and people just listen to him. Its only illegal if the law is enforced. Otherwise, the law isn't worth the paper its written on.

Theres a saying in computer stuff that applies nicely here. PEBKAC, problem exists between keyboard and computer...turn signals have to be turned on, no amount of engineering can fix bad driving.

Our retirement plans didn't used to be tied to the stock market. So clearly there's a way to have retirement plans that don't tie the entire middle class to the success of every large corporation.

Maybe, I still hope the go belly up. My 401k isn't worth supporting companies that spread deliberate disinformation. (Looking at you facebook). Hell, when the stock market took a nosedive over tarrifs, I pulled my entire 401k and put it into foreign investments to try to further the crash. Literally the only thing these dipsticks understand is money, and if they're losing it, thats when they pay attention.

Dunno, they're one of the fastest growing economies since 2009 according to Wikipedia. Also a communist government, and landlocked. My assumption was that they're just poor, but i dont actually have any insight into why they included them in this list.

Interesting, all mostly or extremely poor, in the midst of civil wars, military back coups, etc.

Yeah, something about a company making billions of dollars off completely user generated content and moderation just runs me the wrong way. As much as I hate Facebook, they at least pay people to do moderation there, and regularly update their site (as shitty as it is). I dont use either anymore, and I hope they die in a pit of flames owing billions to their shareholders.
