Yeah, only on $27 and up. Heard from Mum that Dads always running out of data, so need to do some shopping around to see if upgrading to more data via Skinny will be worth it compared to other providers.
Haha, yeah they're now down to only 2 months :( though in saying that, while driving the other day, I did see a glimpse of a bus stop ad showing 4 o(or 6) months free when signing up - but can't quite remember who that was.
Same here. Though for me it's been a bit of an unproductive week.
Had a couple of pieces of work that were tying up a lot of my time recently, and I've sort of been chugging along for the last week, slowly trying to clear my backlog.
Was thinking of getting my parents onto Skinny Fibre. I've got a Skinny modem from a couple of years ago, so we should get the $5 BYO Modem Discount for a year, and I was thinking of getting one of them onto a Skinny Number so that we get the $10 Discount as well, bringing it in at $65/month for 300 Fibre. They're currently paying $80 something with Vodafone, and that's due to go up another $6.
Yeah, I've had a pretty toxic manager before that used to constantly be onto you about what you were doing, what you had done etc, and its a really nice change to work with someone that trusts you to do what you do.
Took a bit of getting used to it - not hearing from your manager all day, and them being entirely fine with it.
Not really forced or anything, though my manager has said it would be nice to see me every once in a while :)
Noones really fussed if we can't make it in though.
My partner recently started working for the same company (in a different department), and her Team comes together once a week, so I thought I'd just come in on the same day. Also, my cars a whole lot more fuel efficient than hers as well (but is a manual so she can't drive it), so in the end it seems to end up working out alright.
Hole Smokes. Initially I thought bad things were gonna happen when the car stalled on the grid, but then I wasn't quite expecting how spectacular? (doesn't seem like the right word for it) the actual crash was.
I currently use two laptops (work and personal), and I was previously using an HP G5 Dock to switch between the two via USB-C.
The Docks recently died, and was looking to see if there might be a more elegant solution.
I was wanting to leave both laptops plugged in (via USB-C), and switch between the two with something like a KVM Switch? I was wondering if anyone's done something like this, or know of a solution?
edit: additionally with Power over USB-C capabilities as well
Just like our parents cat. Has everything he needs inside, and they even leave the heatpump on for him overnight. But he MUST go outside at the most inconvenient times.
Might be something to do with the fact he was a part time street cat before
