Damn, it’s so true when they say that if you want to get help on the internet, just say something false and you’ll get a hoard of people coming to correct you.

There are a few options I need to explore, but I think I’m just not use to having to go multiple places to get everything I need…. I’m from Texas, home of HEB.

The farmers markets I’ve gone to were more expensive than getting the same things at the aforementioned expensive grocer.

Trader Joe’s / Costco… for sure, for the things you can get there.

Grocery outlet, Asian markets and meat markets, I haven’t tried, though I do actually have a couple relatively close, I’ll poke my head in soon.

In Portland Oregon, I’ve got these two choices, then a local chain that’s much smaller and much more expensive… and a coop that’s also quite expensive.

So for semi-reasonably priced food, it’s either Kroger or Albertsons.

I just need more Texmex to find its way to Oregon. I’m a Texmex boy not Mexican.

But you have to put the money into the treatment. Oregon isn’t quite doing that yet, and the lag between legalizing the drugs and actually increasing services has been pretty bad for everyone involved.

Hopefully we get it straightened out in the next year or two.

I’ve had no reason for such a bias, not that I can think of. Though, my last Samsung might have been the 7, or whichever note came after it.

Looking up the S8, it released April 2017. So maybe I stopped using them around the time you started and that is the reason for the differing experiences.

How does it seem I’m the only person w Samsung issues. I tried a number of galaxy phones on and off from 2010 to ~2018, and every time it’d be great out the box and then feel like a sluggish piece of shit by like 3-6months in. Only mildly helped by resetting the phone. Even when everyone was like “oh no, that use to be a problem, but this time it’s totally different” same old shit.

I’m not sure I could ever buy anything Samsung ever again.

I just moved out of state about a year ago, so far so great. But check back w me after I do my taxes.

But honestly, if you can find work in Texas, you can probably find work elsewhere, and it will likely even pay better. Unless you’re in some Texas specific industry.

I’m surprised that’s not commons behaviour now, just look at what people are doing in research papers. With enough of that data, they can figure out quite a lot about you and your life.
