This kind of shortcut taking is why Uber now has the customer give the driver a code at handoff so the driver can’t just mark it delivered. (This is only when you opt for “deliver directly to me”)
But “ist” in this context says that this person does this receiving regularly, likely as a hobby or profession. In which case, OOP would likely know if there was a receptionist that would have taken the package.
So, I’d probably go with receptioner which is more open to uses in situations where the person acted as receptioner this time, but not necessarily as part of a thing they do regularly.
I like how a word starts as a technical/medical term for a disability, then it’s used as a slur, then they come up with a new term….repeat. It’s happening now with “learning disability” and “intellectually challenged”.
Also, as someone with a learning disability, ableism is a big part of my life but people using the word retard in stupid throwaway jokes really doesn’t even register as an issue.
And they don’t even have to go through an aggregator, it’s just for ease of use and discovery, pretty much every app will let you put in an rss feed url, so podcast could be self hosted only reliant on having an internet connection… well, hell…. Only reliant on having a shared network connection with your target audience
I just want people to stop using “to” when they mean “too”, maybe it’s my adhd brain, but that is not something I can just read through. It pretty much always throws me off and I have to reread the sentence.
I just watch the content 99.999% of the time. Not that I won’t boycott shit I disagree with, but I definitely do not have the time or desire to seek out every wrongdoing of every entity I interact with. I’d rather just kill myself.
The long ones are worth the watch in my opinion, I was just like “oh that’s me, that makes sense… that explains a lot” and was intrigued throughout the whole 2.5hours of the talk on things parent should know.
But this video is slightly shorter at 1.5hours, on specifically the state of and issues with adult adhd diagnostics right now.
The research update videos are a bit hit and miss engagement-wise but his more comprehensive talks I find endlessly fascinating. I wish I could find the 5minute segment of the parents video that was mentioned to me, bc it’s what then got me looking for more of his content.
He’s actually objectively in the top ~5 experts on adhd around the world.
Though slack does require legal justification iirc for them to give private chat records to the company.
I realized this when I went to make channel MyChannel on my student orgs slack, but couldn’t bc the name was already in use. But I couldn’t find said channel, and my account was now the primary owner of the workspace. So I read through some of their documentation, and yeah… it’s made with some concept of privacy for employees.
Home Depot, Staples, B&HPhoto (decent selection of general tech merch, but tons of photo/video)
As much as I dislike it, google shopping helps me find where I can pick things up locally.
There are things that I’ve been unsatisfied with the alternative options, or particular brands that only sell on Amazon, so I use it occasionally. But I don’t have a subscription to prevent the compulsion to use it.
That seems like a lot of new features for x.x.1 update
Ideally, in SemVer, I believe xx1 updates would just be bug fixes that are unlikely to have any regressive impacts. It should be the absolute safest to update to automatically.
Where do I get magnesium?
