Yeah, that checks out. I think when this was being discussed it was the language of “as an officer of the United States” that was up for interpretation.

The constitution does not forbid felons from running for president.

Government funded and non-profit services exist in and around skid row already. The situation is obviously more complicated than just throwing more money at the situation.

Not sure how you get that. The current 6/3 conservative majority would become a 5/4 liberal majority.
