Let's not forget, the entire people who voted in the GOP, never mind Trump himself, are people who would be incredibly offended if you were smarter than them. It isn't about disagreeing, it's more like, knowing more than what the next person knows. And knowing there's probably 71 million morons who don't like people being smarter than them, they're going to be loud about it.

I don't ever accredit myself as being the brightest person around and that's okay, because if I want to, I could always learn more and better. I would want that for everyone too. I'm proud to be one of those people, with common sense and have developed enough intelligence to see through the bullshit and enact in ways that make reasonable sense and is morally attuned.

We're already seeing the pieces come together and Project 2025 is going to attempt to finalize and orchestrate what it intends to do about education. They're putting faith and belief before facts and truths. They're outright banning what classrooms can be allowed to discuss, we've seen this in practice with LGBTQ. So you can guess what exactly that they're keen on banning because now we've got not only corrupt people in power soon, but corrupt people who still falsely uphold beliefs in a religion that they feel everyone should be educated in.

Just one more Project 2025 guy.

I've noticed that GOG now puts banners on what's a classic game and what isn't. I think they should split some parts of the site where one section is entirely classic games and the other is just DRM-free versions of current games.

Not really. They haven't been giving me a good reason. I've seen too many broken articles, formats that aren't consistent and an abundance of editing issues. Those are not good reasons for me to be donating to them over.

I've not once ever contracted a virus or anything malicious whenever I've had an EOL OS online.

Nah, not for me. I've known to use Windows OSes beyond their EOL support. I remember having still been on Windows XP while everyone else went to Vista and then to Win7. When I got to Win8, it was only because I bought another computer from a friend that had it, that was how I got upgraded.

I don't abide by when Microsoft wants me to upgrade by, if they can pull their heads out of their asses (unlikely) for Windows 12, then I might consider.

I would've wanted a conclusion just to shut up all of the dead-horse beating to dust memelords that for years have been wagoning their tiresome HL3 jokes.

But, it's like, how many games have we waited so long to be released whether it's to continue the story or end it and the reception being more of "...wait that's it?!" than "I'm satisified."

Gamers are the hardest people to appease, so I get the sentiment that Gabe not only felt stumped but written himself into a corner with HL3. Whatever hype at all that has been built, is insurmountably high that whatever Valve pitches out, it's going to be mixed. It'll have a higher chance of being what happened to Duke Nukem Forever in context, than it being what Baldur's Gate 3 became 23 years later after Baldur's Gate II. It's a very narrow window to hit that sweet spot.
