  • Homeassistant does not know how good your devices work. It only tells about whether or not they can communicate/integrate together.

    During the last year or so, ZigBee has become even more popular as a communication protocol.

    Oh yes, it is. They mean business.

    The ping of any connection can't be good enough for that?

    The internet infrastructure of any really existing city is not good enough if just a few thousand cars "suddenly" become unable to self-drive, and therefore need these thousands of remote guys with their VR glasses.

    Or, maybe there will be only 50 of these VR guys anyway, and so it takes, let's say, 20 hours to move 1000 cars, or 60 hours to move 3000 cars...

    BTW How much food and water do you carry in your car, usually?

    Also, if I were thinking about starting to work for one of Musk's companies, then such stupidities would make me think thrice.

    I am sure that many of the best people in the world will never ever work for him, because of such examples. And he will never know it.

  • AI has tons of money.

    AI companies either do this scraping, or they buy data from others who have done such scraping.

    Since the AI companies are sitting on full treasure chests (venture capital), there is a vibrant market at the moment.

    Once I had the opportunity to sit at such a machine.

    A real typewriter with real paper. And no display! Only paper.

    I type my "command line" and it appears on my paper. Ok, where else...

    The computer responds by letting it's response appear - what do you think? - on my paper, too. Not by magic, but by my machine typing it.

    I am typing to my paper. Then the computer is typing to my paper. And so on.

    Hardly ever have I had such a creepy feeling while doing computer work 😵‍💫

    And there's the problem. You are selling yourself for cheap. They recognize that, inevitably. That's why you are getting such terrible, impossible offers.

    Start to think reasonably about yourself, then present yourself reasonably.

    But you need a friend or two to help with this. It's not easy to do such a change on your own.

    But regarding your math, the option C has the highest chance of surviving

    A: (5 * 5 * 5 * 5 * 5 * 5) / (6 * 6 * 6 * 6 * 6 * 6) = terribly low

    B: (2 * 2 * 2) / (3 * 3 * 3) = something like 0.3

    C: 1/3 = 0.33
