  • Enderal is so friggen good. Just, uh, remember that it's not Skyrim. The levelling is different, enemies are scaled to their location not to the PC's level, your dialogue choices actually matter, exploration is rewarded both mechanically and narratively.

And don't start the game with kids around.

  • Depends what I'm eating! Different heats for different meats, y'know?

Here in Chicago there a company called Coop Hot Sauce that makes an amazing array of sauces seasonally. Their "Unicorn Tears" is a good all-purpose hotsauce featuring fermented seranno. They had one two years ago made with habanero and pepitas that was amazing on anything with cheese.

For big brands, Yucateco is very good. Their green habanero is good in chicken soup or in mac'n'cheese. The black label aged habanero is fire on fried chicken or added to salad dressings. The 'Caribbean' roasted habanero is closest to the fresh roasted habanero salsas that the better restaurants on the West Side make in house.

With East and Southeast Asian dishes, sambal oeleck is tops. I have a soft spot for hot mustard with egg rolls, though.

  • My other account is on an instance that federated with them, this one does not.

I've never had any major problems from them, just bad takes and occasional belligerence from specific users. But I also don't seek out their communities.

Are you browsing by 'all'? If so, switch to 'subscribed' and it'll prolly fix 95% of it for you.

  • Renewable power is increasing, yes, but power demand is also increasing. Most of the power to run those electric engines is still being generated by coal. Solar panels are actually kinda energy-intensive to produce, too, and most of that energy is also coming from coal.
