  • Worth noting that the wired version is fully supported with ckb next, the wireless one is only experimentally supported. I can't get it to work with my wireless one, but it at least as onboard memory so I can set binds/rbg with a different computer as needed

  • Same or even if it makes sense (which honestly I think it absolutely does) at least have an option maybe after the preview edition to have one with a better speaker built in for more cost or something. Keep one as is if you only need the voice assistant, but one one be $20-40 more or something if you plan on using it for music too

  • My main PC only stays on for a couple days at a time (on sleep/hibernate when not in use) only because I'm generally too lazy to shut all programs down. I reboot on updates though, which is every couple days.

  • I use it on my work laptop and recently put it on my Mom's computer (basically a browser machine anyway) as well. So far so good on both. The only thing my mom doesn't like is that the file explorer is called dolphin, she said it's confusing. I plan on using a menu editor to change the name, then all is well.

  • I've watched and read a lot of reviews. I don't think any of them were horrible. There were legitimate criticisms like the keyboard flex and the lid flex, but most of what I've seen that's almost ubiquitous is the price per performance worse than other makers. Its fair, but I also think it's a fair tradeoff for modularity and reparability.

  • Getting a used/refurbished one doesn't really give them anything, and actually prevents them from getting data on the next person who would have gotten the used phone and used the stock OS
