No text or screen shot possible, screen is just solid green mouse and keyboard do nothing. Have to do a hard reboot.

Solid green screen across the whole thing. The speaker starts humming the mouse and keyboard do not do anything and it does not resolve on its own (not within five minutes or so anyway). I have to do a hard reboot, then it works fine for the next 7-14 hours and then it happens again. Does not matter what I am doing. I have had it go green when I was reading plain text and not even touching the inputs.

Yeah everything boots and is installed and works great. Games, discord, everything works. It's just that randomly the screen goes solid green and I have to hard reboot. It happens about once every 7 or so hours usually I would say.

Hrm, no MB is MSI. Graphics card is AsRock though, were there compatibility issues with them too? And yes, completely solid green screen. Speaker also humming and nothing to be done, a hard reboot is required

I already tried redownloading and reinstalling Bazzite, yeah. Followed install instructions on Bazzites page pretty sure it had me verify the ISO

Me too, I finally saw it only $100 above MSRP and I caved since I was worried it would actually end up going up more due to uncertain tariff situation here.

I went back and double checked, I did get the AMD one but I got the one marked for old cards not the 9k series

I will double check this one. I had gone in on initial setup and not noticed updates needed but I will check again, good looking out.

Yeah boot and password screen look fine. I tried changing from accurate color to efficient color but that did not do anything for me. Now I am getting a message every 10 minutes or so pop up saying "UUPD Some system updates failed" but no specifics. I really appreciate everyone trying to help but it is looking more and more like a reinstall is going to be needed.

Yeah that did not seem to work using the rebase command I copied from Bazzites website for the version I need it gave me an error part way through

What is rebase?

What is that, using a different operating system to try to boot? Is this just to check if the hardware itself is bad?

They didn't choose them so much as adopt them. They were assigned by a cartoonist named Thomas Nast in the late 1800's. He used them to make fun of the parties and people loved his cartoons so much the animals he used just kind of stuck in popular culture for them.

The amount of people who do not even know what a primary election is blows my mind. They apparently think the candidates are just magically pulled out of the air and not decided by the 39 old white dudes that seem to be the only ones except me out voting in every primary. Want ACTUAL change start telling all the democrats to start showing up to the primaries and maybe we will finally not have boomer white dudes picking both sides of every election.

I think good and evil both are things you do more than things that you are.
