  • Dystopia on top of dystopia. Need a special fund to not die when sick. Job makes you do extra. labor just to afford health care.

  • It's because these employees needed these bonuses. They were essentially a normal part of their compensation. Now it's being held hostage.

  • Your company is abusing it's employees. Imagine if it was something other than exercise how abusive it would be.

With how a lot of jobs have a lot of their pay based on nearly mandatory bonuses, this is basing pay on controlling you outside of work.

  • Requiring things outside work is unpaid overtime.

  • Knowing what words are makes me a furry? The bar is literally underground.

  • The party is obsessed with stealing voters from Republicans

What? Democrats don't need to steal votes. Democrat voters outnumber Republicans but a fairly decent margin. It IS as you say: they just need people to vote. Which is why Democrats generally back voting by mail and early voting that Republicans try to stop.

  • He doesn't have $148M and he's hidden his assets in a bullshit nonprofit. Can a civil defamation and libel/slander suit do anything but try to extract more money? At this point he's sitting where Alex Jones is: as destitute as the courts can legally make them. More debt won't mean anything. He no longer has to fear punishment be cause the only punishment is meaningless.

I don't want there to be debtors prison nor do I want to curtail free speech, so I'm unsure what other measures can be taken.

  • Should be a fine of $10,000 per customer whose data was breached. Plus any costs associated from each customer for stolen identities. Plus cost for identity protection services for each customer.

Comcast: we'd go out of business!

Good. Then the government can auction off your infrastructure (really the US's since we paid for most of it) and the next company won't fuck around with data.

Oh, and if the company tries to hide data breaches, it's a $1M fine per customer breached plus 10% yearly gross revenue as a fine, on top of the above.

  • If $1000 is more than a two week paycheck you're banking $12/hr.

  • Lock yourself in the bathroom with a cot and no phone for a week. Let us know how long you last.

  • Russia has been getting bounced back reliably for years. But it'll be hard for any army to fight without munitions.

This is a great tactic if you support Russia.

  • I understand. Some people think fetuses are babies, people, at that point. And they see abortion as murder. And if you think a fetus is a person, then it IS murder. It's a completely valid position. Not one I think is correct, but it's easy to see how they get there.

And if you believe that then you also believe in slavery for the mother. There's no other precedent for someones literally supporting the life of another that can't be transferred to another guardian. And if you think a fetus is a person you'd not excuse abortion for anything, even rape. Which then means you'd think raping someone can enslave them bodily.

Also most of those people have so little regard for actual babies and do so little to protect them that their stance rings hollow. And they also aren't willing to extend legal benefits as if they were babies. So their actions contradict their stated values and they aren't taken seriously.

  • Most people disagree it's a baby. It's still a fetus in the vast majority of cases. All laws agree with that since no laws grant fetuses rights, they merely restrict a woman's choice.

  • The one a few years ago that stopped flights in Europe was a basaltic one?

  • This sucks. I love jocat and all his videos. This is the second creator sheet Lindsey that had quit due to harassment of shit stains. I'm fucking tired if this being the Internet and I don't even have to deal with death threats to my family like they do.

  • It's stealing. Training is theft. It is NOT like "a person looking at art in a museum and gaining inspiration". AI has no inspiration or creativity. It's an image autocomplete algorithm using millions of other people's images as bases to combine and smooth out. That's all it does. If I took a bunch of Monet paintings and creates some brushes in Photoshop and used it to create a new work, those brushes would still be theft. At best, it'd be a collage art piece I'd have to credit Monet for.
